Automatism

Automatism has taken on many forms, the drawing, and the writing. Automatism drawing is where someone begins to rapidly draw something with no image in mind, the most famous person for this is André Masson, who began by rapidly let his pen go around the paper with out any control of it, after some time he noticed parts of images and bodies with in his drawing.

Automatic Writing is like drawing, but words instead of images, it is said that it is possible that is the position of a spirit taking hold on the hand and writing things, however it is mainly said that it happens when the body is in either sleep walking or a trance state.
